Converting power once vs X times definitely has an efficiency factor.

I think the efficiency greatly depends on your switch efficiency and how many devices you are going to power vs the efficiency of your PoE injector or wall wart.
There is also a convenience factor of not needing to plug something in locally.
Also, security, someone can’t just unplug the power supply for your camera per se.
Being Conservative is different than being Republican…
Republicans just happen to share more ideals than Democrats do.
But thanks for assuming my party…
Young(er) conservative here. If you want to open a restaurant like this, go ahead, that is your freedom. Where I draw the line is forcing these ideals upon others that don’t wish to partake.
But heaven forbid you use BOWLS! /s
I have a script called cookie_monster.sh
I’ve started to use Raindrop, seems to work well and you can tag each bookmark and later search by tag.
Honestly, I love the pro-clip USA mounts.
They are a bit pricey, but they clip to the dash rather than stick to it and can be removed easily while being very sturdy.
I love Bitwarden and you can self host Vaultwarden. I’m not sure how OSS it is however.
Oh, yeah gross… I briefly looked at their instance and it looked like Hentai. Not my thing, but who am I to kink shame.
CSAM is unacceptable though.
You might try blocking the communities on your end.
Towing and cold weather also play an important factor in the range as well.
Gas is too expensive!
EVs are not ready for the broad market. Sure, they work fine for getting to work and running some errands, but I wouldn’t trust going on long road trips with them yet. Plus, changing the batteries when they wear out is wayyyyy too expensive, might as well buy a new vehicle at that point.
Package manager with a UI? I like my apt and dnf thank you very much.
What I’m gathering is, have fun, be safe and a decent human being, and don’t be a dick.
A switch will recognize a PoE device and push the full 15.4w by default. Then the device has the abi6to communicate back to the switch to specify how much power is actually needed.
