I can not recommend the framework laptop enough. Love their mission of producing a reparable and user-friendly laptop. You can even buy it without windows, to install your own OS from the get go.
Okay, I uninstalled the gnome portal, which meant I had to uninstall gnome-shell
, which lead to GMD crashing (that I was apparently using lol), which was scary at first, but I was able to start Hyperland
from a TTY without issue, and don’t receive an error anymore, thanks!
I’ve replied this to a different comment as well, but wouldn’t this mean I couldn’t switch back? Because currently I can just select my DE in a dropdown on the login screen.
Uhm… yeah…, sure, could certainly be another data point for that. I think you can also set static colora thought.
