I’m sorry you’re so anthropomorphizing. Just because a cat purrs when it recognizes you, doesn’t mean there’s something beyond the obvious. Also, unless you’re a vegan animals-rights-activist, what does any of your special bonds mean while opposing doomsday onto all other species. Oh right, we’re just talking of “pets”.
