I firmly believe that any game or software that has officially ended support should be legally required to be open-sourced and handed over to the community that loves it. When a company decides to stop maintaining a product, it often leaves behind a dedicated fanbase that continues to cherish and use it. Instead of letting these creations fade into obscurity or become inaccessible due to outdated technology, open-sourcing them would allow the community to preserve, improve, and breathe new life into them.
