The troubled teen industry is a fucked up place.
Elan.school is a great story of one of those awful places.
Please note that Elan.school is an incredibly difficult read and could very much be triggering if you went through other kinds of trauma as a teenager.
I spent my teenage years watching beheading videos on LiveLeak, and other early (earlier) Internet horrors. I think about elan.school a lot. This has stuck with me way more than I thought anything could.
