Electric car fires are seen as too difficult to extinguish to allow them on board, according to shipping company Havila Kystruten.

    Stupid. It just doesn’t spontaneously combust unless there is a serious issue with it or has been tampered, and in that case even a petrol car might burst in flame for the same reason.

      At least with a fuel fire, someone can put it out with the right extinguisher.

      Not so much with a battery fire
