      the management class always devalue the efforts of those doing actual work. their exorbitant salaries couldn’t be justified any other way.

    One, the article is nuance-less, shallow garbage from a GOP mouthpiece.

    Two, it’s probably not entirely wrong. The directors’ guild gave him a slap on the wrist when he was the director who didn’t get credit before the crawl, but it’s completely fair that he was punished for fucking over a colleague. Something also tells me he was not the first or last director to butt heads over tea time and quitting time at Elstree, but he certainly kept coming back.

    As for the current strike, ol’ George would be positively salivating at the possibility of replacing ALL the actors with deepfake stand-ins, LOL. “Faster and more intense” could just become a pair of dials on his console.
