I never believed in tactical voting before but with our broken FPTP system I’ve come to agree it’s what’s necessary. Not being a Tory is the most important thing for a candidate. Green, Labour, Lib Dem, SNP… if a vote for them blocks a Tory then I’ll do it.
I’d vote for a chimp whose one policy was that they were going to tear my arm off.
At least then there might still be an NHS to help with the injury
I know people who won’t vote (one who spoils his ballot every election) because “they’re as bad as each other” when they really aren’t. The only hope of salvaging public services, getting any kind of green policies, and just less mayhem is voting in anyone who isn’t a Tory.
