- .social
- .world
- .cuz
Is it due to cheaper registration and/or renewal fees? Or are there simply more availability on those TLDs?

my guess is it’s the same as why they’re used on mastodon — they’re fun
Not an expert, but to me it simply seems that you can have more domains that start with Lemmy.
I think theyre cheaper. Due to being the standard, .com, .org etc are more sought after.
