You can create an Antenna (top right of your timeline header) and add hastags (and specific words) to it. You can have multiple Antennas.
I’ve been told that there is no way to incorporate that into the main feed, unfortunately. However, hashtags tend to be pretty messy so I totally get putting them in their own timelines.
