It’s a difficult line to toe, why not work with them to let them have a community rather than directly ban them?
Similarly if they do move, do you defedeate?
I’m pro LGBTQ+ but not talking about something isn’t the same as actively being against something.
If this is the direction of lemmy world, I’m fine with that, but it would be good to set clear boundaries that a lot of religions have no home on lemmy world so they don’t waste time building a community here then get it nuked from orbit.

There is a difference between hosting those communities here and federating with instances who have them.
Unless it turns out to be problematic we won’t defederate.
