Using the great camera/video program Cinema P3 (filmic pro is now subscription based), though the videop from any app are so, so sharpened.

    Welcome to a world of hurt, a lot of people have been appalled before you and many too, have complained to Apple. Unfortunately there is no way to disable it.

    Probably the iPhone’s biggest downside. I recommend Halide as a camera replacement.

    The only way to avoid it is using third party camera apps or shooting in Apple pro-raw with the native camera, that way the effects are not as aggressive.

    If you hold the button in the camera to take a burst of pictures, those will not have the annoying over processing.

        I’m not sure but I can tell the pictures seem to lose HDR, I only do this when I want to take a picture of something and the over processing gets ridiculous. Sometimes normal pictures look great so I don’t know what’s the variable, maybe it’s the lighting.
