Can agree that it’s pretty good when it works, but apparently my IP got blacklisted (or something along those lines) So now i have to use a VPN or use some other network than my house’s to be able to make or edit credentials at all.

You could self host bitwarden if you’re technically inclined. Or use Keepass* and just use syncthing between your devices.

Both valid choices, I’m even using syncthing already, but I don’t think all the messing around and setting up a whole new system is worth it atm being honest, moreso since I can just botch this and use a VPN so it works.

For now I’ll put a pin on it, so I’ll work on this on the future.

Tried a bit over a week ago already with no response, might try again tomorrow and see if I get lucky.

As far as I saw, this issue is pretty common, being mentioned a lot, but when it’s brought up, devs ignore it

Even found posts several years old having the exact same problems as me

Something I forgot to mention was that about a week ago, when I checked on a Lemmy instance (I believe it was lemmy, not sure which one though) I found out that I was blacklisted by some kind of service that protects websites from spam, bots, etc.

After a quick trip to their main website and putting my IP in, I learned that it was apparently flagged as not secure as it had a history of spamming and maybe something else that I’m forgetting.

So yeah, I’d think they just got mention of my IP being shady from somewhere and just blocked it, as it had worked flawlessly before this.
