GeForce Now is a game streaming service. It was previously possible to use it on deck, but Nvidia is making it much easier to install and get set up. They also recently improved gamepad navigation of their service.

To install, go to their install page in desktop mode and scroll down to the steam deck option. Download and run the script.

The advantage of streaming services like this is getting great performance on lower power devices, and minimal battery usage.

    Fuck Nvidia

    Instead of improving their shitty cloud subscription BS, they should improve their drivers or just fully open source them so the community can work on it ffs

      I agree, but I’m sure there are completely different teams for each and I appreciate this team choosing to support Linux more.

        No, that’s not how it works. They make lots of money from their cloud gaming BS, more supported platforms means more potential users, which means more money. Proper GPU drivers for Linux wouldn’t make them much money, but take some time (and thus money) to develop.
