In the Miami subreddit people were making jokes about Harley riders being super loud and obnoxious, so I posted the clip from South Park where someone says “You know everyone thinks you guys are a bunch of f@gs (without the @ in case the auto mod here catches it), right?” to a group of Harley riders.

And I was banned from Reddit for 3 days, my account is over 10 years old.

        By using a video/image response, you’re speaking through that image/video; it’s the same as if you wrote down “Harley fans are fаgs” yourself. And while I don’t know (or care… really) about Harley fans, you’re still conveying a “homosexuality is so bad that it can be used as an insult” discourse. Well, that’s homophobic.

        Personally I’d consider it petty if you were using the word meta-linguistically, or to convey “cigarette”, or somehow cancelled that “homosexuality bad” discourse.
