A lot of what I consider useful posts were lost when digg changed over and chances are the same is going to happen to reddit.
I just made sure for example that this post is archived and bookmarked for myself because it is super useful for those of us who use a K400 keyboard.
Yeah, it makes me uncomfortable knowing that SO much information is going to be lost with mass comment deletion or whatever else. Luckily as abff08f4813c said there are archives and also this (info) which might be the same thing.
There are also extensions like this in case you want your own local copy of single pages so you’re definitely not going to lose them.

The ability to finally disable those super annoying gestures permanently was a life saver. It was driving me up the wall.
Thanks… useful feature for some uses I guess but a right pain when you don’t want them.

Good advice in general, but for anything older than this year, there’s a big torrent floating out there. I suspect you’d be able to find your content no problem even if reddit goes belly up.
