You may be well meaning with this comment thinking having left of center political ideals makes you a liberal, I too have been embarrassed by this mistake, but unfortunately neoliberalism is right of center with values not much different than conservatives held twenty years ago. You may be a leftist just right of communism or maybe I’m the idiot here and you may know what you’re saying and deserve the down votes for the way you said it, but either way just a heads up.
