Has been like this for a while now. That’s why I use Teddit on mobile and have all reddit links redirect to teddit using this addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/privacy-redirect/
Has been like that for a loooooong while now
Its so incredibly frustrating too, because reddits search is awful and search engines do a better job. The only way I’ve found around this is to copy the url into the search bar of some mobile reddit clients.
I think just changing the www. to old. seems to fix a good percentage of problems.
Can change it to i. too. Works fine on phones.
I use libreddit.northboot.xyz, but there are lots of other instances. UntrackMe from F-Droid is really useful too, like the browser addon Privacy Redirect for desktop browsers.
Can confirm. Happened to me too when I was looking for something specific. Time to redirect to a frontend.
Ah yeah, I’ve come across that many times. Additionally, you can’t view NSFW content via a mobile browser anymore. It’s required that you’re logged in on an app.
Use Slide, awesome libre application.
