I think wind turbines actually look quite nice.

I much prefer the elegant kinetic beauty of wind turbines - especially in a cluster, to the ugly scar of a line of pylons: give me a turbine any day.

Beauty and ugliness are purely in the eye of the beholder… as someone else already commented I’d take a nice clean wind turbine any day over a cola mine as far as my perception of “beauty” goes…
