The very first sentence in Wikipedia describes it as pseudoarchaeological docudrama. Got to love it.

Why does your sky zombie hate you so much he gives you such bad evidence?

I don’t believe in the Bible lol

But the historical figure existed. It’s not an amalgamation of fantasy. He was likely nothing like his imagery in pop culture.

Ok so if you don’t believe in the Bible what is your source of information that he existed?

You are making the claim it is on you to defend it. If I say unicorns exist I have to provide evidence for it not demand that other people defend every single aspect of their life.

So what is the source for your claim for Jesus given that you have thrown out already pretty much all the evidence we have?

My claim is that someone found something archeology that coincides with the history. I claim that Socrates or Cleopatra exist too. I don’t subscribe to her seducing men. I can separate the historical likely from the myths created around them.

I would like to see a bit more than the Talpiot Tomb. All the names are common enough and so many tombs were discovered they were bound to find one that sorts matched up. You know when you ignore all the parts that don’t. Like why is there a reference to Jesus’ wife and son, how did a poor family afford that tomb, etc.

Basically I am asking just because you found a room with the name Jesus son of Joseph on it how do you know it is the Jesus of Christianity?

No. The documentary examins all of the family. And the mathematical probability of those names occuring during that time. Which was only 200 years. Which was the time he died. And ostuaries were common then.

I am not watching your discovery channel documentary. The wiki article on the tomb is enough.

Justify the corruption they used to get the name Mary.
