    They shouldnt vote for him. If this was the most important election our lifetimes, like they keep claiming, the DNC should have put money and effort into finding someone to primary the guy that was no ones preferred candidate.

        I don’t approve of the support of Israel, but he has been a solid, reliable president who knows what he’s doing. And he has made a lot more accomplishments than people even realize.

          The CHIPS (etc) Act was enough to justify his presidency by itself, IMO. It was insane that such a huge percentage of the world’s semiconductor research and production were concentrated in one country, especially a small one that China has been eyeing like a feral cat for years.

        That’s very fair - but no one should feel obligated to vote for the party pick in a party primary.

      Donald Trump is Schroedinger’s candidate: simultaneously such a huge threat that we should vote for a genocider to avoid him, and not a big enough threat to warrant looking for a non-genocider to run against him.
