This has nothing at all to do with Biden.
    A) The NATO is an independent body that the US is part of and doesn’t have unilateral control over.
    And
B NATO won’t accept a country that’s currently involved in a war, even if said country didn’t start the war.
This seems like a hot take designed to make Biden look like the bad guy when he has literally no control over the situation

Yeah, the two people who will need the most convincing are Orban and Erdogan, just based on the Swedish NATO bid.

NATO doesn’t allow countries who are at war to join. Biden can’t change that.

NATO allies don’t want Ukraine to join while at war with Russia but to get a fastpass after the victory

But the US still isn’t the one that needs to be pressured for that to happen. Barring a new anti-Ukraine president in the next election the ones to worry about are Hungary and Turkey who have also been speed bumps for Norway and Sweden’s membership bids.

the US will not be the problem, Hungary will be (not Turkey on that one, they are building military facilities on Ukraine Soil meaning the tide between Ukraine and Turkey is strong enough for Turkey to accept Ukraine NATO accession). But US can pressure Hungary (just like what is happening with Sweden accession). pressuring US is pressuring the whole NATO because a lot of NATO countries relies on US military technology and intel (and the countries that don’t rely on US: France and UK have already voted for a fast Ukraine NATO accession in their respective parliament)

No but they don’t ask to, allies ask biden to do all the paperwork now so Ukraine can become NATO member after their victory
