Hey guys! Murkiian here.
I had an idea, or rather a request in mind that I would like to share with y’all. It’s regarding buildings in our city that use pretty much the same resources all the time, and if other comrades agree with me, I think we need to diversify the number of blocks we use in our builds.
I like wooden materials myself, but considering that we are building a city and that we can get access to the more interesting blocks, since we are rapidly expanding, I think it would be a good idea to put this expansion to the good use and really diversify how our city looks.
What do you think?
Cr252 here. I think that’s a good idea
A cohesive style would help aesthetics more than just using different blocks for the sake of it. It’s definitely good to make each building unique and visually distinct, but that can also be achieved with varation on building technique.
Foremost reason I prefer oak wood, wool, and some cut stone details is the ability to get these materials easily and sustainably from existing sources, without the need to process them heavily using precious fuel or labor time.
