As lovely as it would be to openly shit on them and Saudi Arabia for being inhumane jerks, we just don’t have that option. The second we alienate Israel is the second WWIII becomes virtually inevitable. Biden’s choosing between shitty options and shittier options, and like it or not, we need foreign allies in strategic locations, especially since Pax Americana is rapidly collapsing.
If we helped set up a two state solution then we’d have another ally over there. Hell, if we had a one state solution, we’d have one more ally and one less genocidal apartheid state to leash. And tbh, it’s probably better we’re not over there fucking things up anymore.
