        Until the recent announcement, I had assumed the transition was in development hell, vaporware.

        Great to see the forbidden history of old posts now back again, I also thought that would never happen. I’ve been on too many sites that had major data loss and all the posts died.

        So I could just post a number of news outlets and call it news? Just post a link to the frontpage of the guardian? The post itself even refers to previous posts as “discussion”. The bulk of the “article” is unsourced so I don’t even know how you determined this as news.

          In the thread there is sourcing from frontline reporters, and I’m not going to get into a semantic discussion on what the word “news” means, if the mods don’t think it is “newsworthy” they’ll remove it, your comments come off as a bad faith method to try and attack a perspective you don’t agree with.

            That is still not sourcing to specific claims made in the article, just pointing to a reporter, which is not how sourcing works. There is a certain paranoia on this board, at no point did I say I disagreed with the claims made, just that it isn’t a news article
