Overall
- Seems like AMD are shipping great HW to HPCs and letting them deal with it AMD dropped ROCm for Polaris/Vega 10 while not having it for any reasonably buyable GPUs…
- ARM is used in eg igpus for graphics etc and this is about the dropping support and the lack of software support
- Linus Torvalds comments reigns supreme, this is the posted link with only one of the comments, there is an entire discussion going on.

Umm, what you linked to speaks only about ARM server CPUs. You mean somewhere further down on that lengthy email thread?
