Russians are growing weary of the war against Ukraine but are divided about how much harm it has done and how to end it, according to a report based on polling and focus groups by the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center and the Levada Center, an independent polling group.

    The Russian wannabe-tough-guy attitude coupled with indifference to their own atrocities is why this war needs to be brought onto their soil. Specifically Moscow.

    Russia is 80% conservatives. Empathy is not a conservative trait. Fuck Russia.

      It’s not a left or a right thing, it boils down to how pervasive the state propaganda is, and if any prominent voices of truth rise up, they’re often jailed or killed.

      The support is because of indoctrination and fear, not because people are incapable of empathy.
