That top photo is so damn “movie aesthetic” I fucking hate it. For many reasons, but mainly the fact that libs always fall for empty photo ops like this, while also thinking themselves geniuses for not “falling for” any photos or video posted by “the enemy”
The same people who will insist that this photo isn’t just a photo op and is actually representative of a brave hero little girl are also the same people who will insist the Palestinian go-pro footage is all faked.
Oh my god, I thought I was the only one! This is so obviously a photo op not only because of the camera quality and filters, but also because of the Ukraine coloured ribbons in her hair, the decrepit ass house she’s stationed in, wielding a gun she’d never be able to shoot properly, and just the sheer absurdity of it all.
The same person made a post with a Palestinian teenager holding two rifles but instead of praising him she demonized him.
It kind of reminds me of when a video went viral of a young blonde girl screaming at a soldier, people thought she was a Ukrainian yelling at a Russian and therefore they joyfully cheered her on. It was revealed she’s Palestinian yelling at an Israeli soldier, and with that the narrative flipped. They cheered on her arrest and are now pissed she’s been released.
I’m kind of surprised at how intertwined the Ukraine-Russia war is with the Palestinian Genocide, but maybe I shouldn’t be.

For so many people in the west. These are the people I speak to every day, the people I work with, the people I nod at at the shops. It terrifies me how racist western society is, and how much they are all just waiting for the chance to start all goosestepping and pushing the untermensch into the camps.
