Currently I have a Redmi Note 10 5G (codename camellia/n)

This is a very low end smartphone. And a very important problem has to do with it. MIUI is not great. I just don’t like the optimizations they do by just killing any process I have in the background ruining the experience of use. And it falls behind others when it comes to personalization which is very important to me.

I want to install crdroid which is one of the few roms which are available for my device (at least officially). But I have many problems.

First, I need to do all of this without root and without any custom recovery as my phone doesn’t support any. I am going to install the ROM through Xiaomitool V2 because it makes the process a lot more intuitive and easy at least for me. (I have absolute 0 knowledge on adb).

Then there’s Gapps, I need to flash them as I rely on them a lot and I also need it so I can restore the google one backup once I install the ROM. But without a custom recovery I have no idea how to do it.

Last, please give detailed instructions. I have no idea how adb (which I suppose is the only way to do what I’m trying) commands work, what each of them does etc

Sorry for the long text and thank you.

      This is not my phone.

“Camellia/n” are the. POCO M3 PRO and my phone. That is the citrus. I think it even has a different processor, unfortunately pixel experience is not available officially. I could go with unofficial but I’m scared I won’t get security updates and stuff

Thaank you. Hey, I noticed in the instruction that it talks about installing the Pixel Experience custom recovery. Where can I find this for my phone? And how does it work? Is it like TWRP / OrangeFox but specifically for PE?

EDIT: I noticed, I guess that it must be the boot.img on the github right?
