I have hope that the general population would fight against the US turning into Gilead with direct action. And if that direct action does not take place, then I’m clapping myself with nitrogen gas.
There is serious violence and injustice in the world. We have leaders who came before us who demonstrated how collective action can effect change, and who have moved our society in a more just and inclusive direction versus 25, 50, 100, or 150 years ago.
Rather than put in that hard work though you could instead just give the fuck up and wish for violence, right
I hope not. You seem to understand what’s at stake, rather than believing beyond all sense and reason that there will be another democratic election post-Project 2025.
Don’t worry. I promised myself I wouldn’t off myself after my last attempt until I truly saw no way out. I’ll wait 'til the Gestapo are knocking at the doors. Til then, I’ll be doing what little I can to get milquetoast centrists elected, because as much as I’d like something better, I’m also under no illusion that making things worse will give some sort of ‘do-over’.
Count yourself lucky. Lmao, one of my first political experiences online was quarreling with a left-wing accelerationist in the late 2000s. Wild stuff. They’ve only multiplied, unfortunately, as a result of the increasing dysfunction of the US political system and the dying promises of neoliberalism in general.
Maybe the fascism will motivate change quicker than this status quo bullshit.
It sounds like you’d rather things get much worse, because you think that will make things better. Is that what you think?

You have hope that there’s civil violence coming? You’re fucked up dude
Something about watching people who look like me dying on a regular basis will do that. Idc anymore.

Malcom X? Assassinated MLK? Assassinated
Edit: by our own government, no less.
Are people who look like you worth more than people who don’t?
Hold up, Pug. You’re not black?? I was not expecting that. Ok, going to bed now.
What on earth does that have to do with people looking like you being worth more than those who don’t?
Oh? You mean like how fascism motivated change in Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany?
Have fun in the fucking camps. I’ll probably off myself before that.

This post has been wild. I honestly never ran into left-wing accelerationists until today.

Lol you and I have the same plan if the revolution doesn’t take place
“I’m willing to sacrifice as many of you as it will take to get my way!”
