    ? in many species males will play with other males’ penises. So why are chimps the original bros?

    Maybe the joke was, they are the ones that seems closest to the homo species but are still apes?

    Though I think there are other apes that are genetically closer to homo sapiens.

    This showerthought looked queerphobic to me before I came to the conclusion about its possible meaning. It’s still seems - maybe unconsciously - insensitive to me.

      I don’t know what op meant by their post, but i must say that chimpanzees and bonobos are indeed the most closely related apes to humans.
