Yes, one the local level your voice (in my opinion) typically matters. For national elections, meh. I think I’m going to go third party this year. Even though I like the other comment about “diet fascism” (I think I’ll use that to describe dems from now on) in my state there’s 0 chance of anything other than a dem taking the vote, so I’d rather show who I actually prefer, than just toe the line.
I don’t really go out of my way to, but I’ll vote on local things where I can.
I voted PSL for the last presidential, and I’ll try the same this time around. Maybe some greens if they pop up in other spots.
I don’t think it’s particularly useful, but I don’t think that hurts.
Nope
I voted in the last election cycle for biden. I was still a bit liberal lol. Now I dont vote in the general election at all, but I will vote on local propositions.
For which party?
wait I misunderstood your question at first, but the way city propositions work, you don’t really need to be registered in the D / R party to vote for propositions.
ballot props are nominally non-partisan; they don’t have a party formally affiliated with them
A proposition isn’t a partisan thing; it’s probably the closest to democracy you get in the US.
Take Texas Proposition 3 from the 2023 elections:
Sec. 25. The legislature may not impose a tax based on the wealth or net worth of an individual or family, including a tax based on the difference between the assets and liabilities of an individual or family
This is not a partisan thing, but a leftist would oppose this state constitutional amendment (it passed with 67.88% of the vote)

on local and state matters i do. for the president i do not, especially next year. i don’t think my vote matters for the president whatsoever, that decision has already been made by the capitalists and they’ll get whoever serves their interests best for the next 4 years. locally, i feel like my vote actually has some kind of sway.
If there are referendums yeah, but candidates are shit so those spots stay blank.
