Ukraine’s state-run energy operator warned Saturday that “there are risks of hydrogen leakage and sputtering of radioactive substances” from the country’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as shelling in the Russian-occupied area continues, despite international pleas for a ceasefire.

“As a result of periodic shelling, the infrastructure of the station has been damaged,” Energoatom said in a statement, cautioning that “the fire hazard is high” and that the plant “operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety standards.”

i think you’re thinking of the Kyiv post, who fired all their journalists last year and hired a bunch of shills, and are owned by some Odessa oligarch. Kyiv Independent are the good guys, can you please just look outside your bubble for one hot second and look at some other viewpoints rather than make assumptions?

Of course a Ukrainian newspaper is not going to admit if Ukraine is shelling near a nuclear power plant in Russian occupied territory. You wouldn’t accept RT as an unbiased source, so why should anyone accept the *Kiev Independent?

Kyiv Independent are the good guys

Oh sweaty, there are no good guys and bad guys in this world. Moral judgements are not what determine credulity either.
