My server is in France, but the content is exclusively norwegian. I tried to change the location, but I found the process of changing the position confusing. The site is already registered, so I can’t add it. I can’t edit because the site needs to be associated with an email which can only be done by adding the server.
We use the IP location data only, so that could not be changed. Yes you can add the site and make the DNS update to claim your server if you like, it gives you the DNS enrty on the add screen
The site sais that the map tool is designed to find your new instance home. It feels wrong to select your home based on ping alone. Am I missing something?
Yes, ping is one thing, the country and terms are another, the uptime, the code base, the software, the host, the server All we can do is gather this data and share it and let the user decide what fits them.
