I swear, it’s using the same guest noises from RCT. Not all of them, but I can hear it.

    The comments are not similar to the post. Them reusing assets from their own work is expected and smart. Them using crowd sounds that were also used in RCT is not. If that’s true, that’s weird. I’d expect their sound team to go out somewhere crowded and record it themselves.

      Sound libraries mean that many games/media share sound effects or even textures and models sometimes. The Wilhelm scream is the most famous example of this.

        I’m aware. Most large studios don’t use sound libraries (outside of iconic sounds as reference, like your example) because they want ownership of the product and they have teams they pay to record and master the sounds. Bethesda is headquartered in Rockville Maryland. There are many places in the area to get crowd sound effects recorded. Hell, they could even just record an office event or something without going anywhere. It’d be odd for them to use a crowd sound effect directly from a sound library.

    Bust a couple caps in the Well, and everyone starts screaming; it’s pretty hilarious because it keeps going way longer than necessary.
