“Over 500 Japanese residents from across the country gathered in Fukushima’s Iwaki City on Sunday to protest the nuclear-contaminated wastewater discharge. They came from 375 civil groups nationwide and demanded an immediate stop to the discharge which started on August 24. It was by far the largest protest against the discharge.”
China’s take on the Japanese government’s handling of the situation, largely due to some of the isotopes they haven’t filtered out. Particularly the strontium, iodine, and carbon variants. These have leaked into said wastewater due to the meltdown in several of Fukushima’s reactors.
