    Currently there’s a Dota tournament held in Riyadh, SA with price pool of $15m. The prize is much higher than third party or even official tournaments. But the event itself seems kinda empty, there’s not much spectators. Either because it’s still workdays or no interest from local

    I don’t like the religious or governmental implications this might have but I have no qualms with it’s people. Plus if china’s Tencent is already so ingrained in gaming, SA can’t be much worse. Right?

      SA seems to want to be the esports hub, not game making hub. Having to travel to SA to participate is absolutely a bigger danger than playing games produced by tencent
