Just turn all that info to private and you’re golden. Honestly it baffles me that people want to broadcast what they’re playing to their friends at all times.

No, definitely not all the time. But if I’m playing age of empires or something, it’d be cool if a friend wants to join me spontaneously. It’d be less cool if they saw me playing super duper furry hentai game #4

Former schoolmate of mine noticed me playing a hentai game and sent me a message on how to enable R18 patch

I fucked up and forgot friends could see what I was playing for a long time. Then I noticed more and more friends either played the hentai games too, or added them to their wishlists. Now I just full yolo the hentai

The hentai games are one thing, but I cannot have my friends and family see me playing the furry porn games

How do you handle that in Steam itself though? Does it show games that other accounts have installed? Does it just not let you play those games unless you sign in as that account or are linked via family sharing?

To rephrase the question - If someone was looking over your shoulder at your Steam window, would they see the installed porn games in your library from your other account, even if the other account isn’t logged in?

Yeah, I think so. It think it also shows you playing those games even if from a shared library, though I’m not 100% on that

Just a reminder to practice good opsec when playing hentai games Such as: Removing the polizer film on your screen then buy glasses with a polizer film in them so that only you can see the screen buy a closed back headphones so that no one can hear the sounds Use a alt account Make sure that NO ONE is in the same room as you and lock the door

Feel free to add more opsec tips down on the comments

If you don’t want to see NSFW stuff from friends in your activity feed in Steam, there’s a toggle for it in your account store preferences somewhere.

Honestly Steam should just have a “cave” where hentai can be “stashed” in so it won’t show up in public searches or through social features.

Do you mean that you don’t play hentai games, you don’t have friends, or you don’t care if your friends know that you play hentai games?
