I’m about 75% of the way Through Kaiju Preservation Society and it’s super fun. I don’t know if it should be award winning but it’s worth a read
Have you read any? I haven’t, but I love adding these lists to my lists and then not remembering anything about them later on.
I’ve read Kaiju Preservation Society. It’s very entertaining and I’d highly recommend it. I have The Spare Man on my to read list because I liked The Lady Astronaut series by Mary Robinette Kowal. But from the description it sounds more like a murder mystery - IN SPACEEEEEEEEE - than a real sci fi book. The other nominees aren’t traditional science fiction books, either, they’re more fantasy or fantasy/horror.
No I haven’t. But I have Kaiju and the first book in Tamsyn Muir’s series already on my list.
I’ve been wanting to read The Kaiju Preservation Society. But only after my R*ddit Bingo is finished.

Nona the ninth was quite a slog to get through. The first book was the best in that series.
The Kaiju Oreservation Society is in my queue. Eager to get to it. Sounds interesting.
Looked at Bloodmarked. Might going to read that.
