Also according to DHS, daily deportations are higher than they ever were during the Trump era. According to the Cato institute, Biden is deporting people at a rate 3.5 times higher per month than Trump did.
This is the cruel, inhumane irony of the Republicans’ “crisis at the border” rhetoric. Biden is giving them everything they say they want, and is still being called weak. Instead of continuing Trump’s inhumane policies, Biden could be instituting actual humane reforms (as he promised) and he would probably be just as well off, if not better, politically.
