He’s not going to be remembered. He’s just another village idiot in the grand scheme of things.

As a Florida native, you are wrong. This dude has destroyed our state for years to come. And as a parent he has completely altered our educational system for generations.

I agree with you. Hopefully somebody will come in and fix it but realistically a lot of the damage is done. But history books aren’t going to remember this idiot. I’m glad for that.

You guys can stop letting fox news convince you to vote for the worst possible candidate for everyone but the oligarchy at any time.

That’s the problem, no one remembers these idiots so the next generation keeps making the same mistakes. We should write this shit down in books, then actually teach it to kids, but fuck funding the soft sciences as long as the football team has new jerseys.

Came here to say the same thing. This will be the thing that he thinks of as dooming his bid.

But didn’t he specifically tell them they should just drop their suit and leave him alone? How rude of them.

From what I understand, the standard set for proving retaliation is pretty high, they must have a smoking gun

Yeah. It’s everything DeSantis has said in speaches and print regarding why and what he was doing to get back at Disney.

I mean, they’ve got like 75 smoking guns to choose from so they should be okay. They dude openly admits to targeting their ass.

I’m no fan of Disney, but this seems pretty cut and dry. DeSantis abused his power as governor and targeted Disney for reasons that were purely political, and in doing so undoubtedly cost Disney a lot of money. He has also straight up admitted that he was doing all this for retaliatory reasons.

Florida reelected this man by resounding margins. I’d hold my pity for the regular folk for a minute. They’re getting what they asked for.
