Chess engines are another great example. AlphaZero was a strong neural network engine but since the code was never published, the open source Leela has since stolen the spotlight.
Free software. This forum must be renamed.
I think this is true because I remember the presentation of google getting the AI to make a reservation. If that was open source everyone would be making reservations like that since then. But that’s not the case, so it’s as if it didn’t happen.
Also, if otherwise then it is just advertisement for some commercial/proprietary product, and has no place in my feed :)
